Our Commitments
The earth’s resources are finite, and wise environmental stewardship is necessary today to preserve the quality of life for future generations.
- We have established internal programs focused on educating our employees on identifying and taking an active role in improving our environmental performance.
- We have invested in extensive dust control systems, and some of our products, such as crushed stone, are used to control air emission from power plants and other industrial sources.
- We work diligently to conserve and protect valuable water resources both for human consumption and aquatic habitats. Our products are used in water supply and wastewater treatment, as well as in public works infrastructure.
- We realize the removal of aggregates temporarily disturbs our area’s landscape. However, once the materials have been extracted New Frontier Materials has a responsibility to reclaim the land into beneficial usages, including wildlife habitats and parks.
Sustainable Work
- Every American will need 1.18 million lbs of stone, sand, and gravel in their lifetime. New Frontier Materials sustains the communities in which we operate by providing raw materials as natural building blocks for quality of life.
- The asphalt industry reuses and recycles nearly 100 million tons of its products every year. The use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (rap) reduces the carbon footprint of road building and also saves landfill space.
